Eggscape is an Hypercasual Mobile Where the player impersonates an egg trying to escape from a bar. Is an endless run game where the player must stop falling objects by tilting a little cocktail umbrella protecting the egg from cracking. The goal is to last as long as possible without being destroyed.

This was the second video game project that we developed at Digital Bros Game Academy (game design Course).
The brief was to do an hypercasual mobile having as a costumer Bad Seed a real videogame dev studio . The goal for the project was not only to do a fun game but also to focus on sensation, player retention, advertising and monetization.
The game is a 2.5D Side Scroller with perspective camera. Oblect spaws randomly in a random angle outside of the screen pointing the main character. The goal of the player is to protect the main character by tilting his umbrella. This action is performed by swiping. If a falling object hits the egg it would be game over.
Through the game the player can gain coins by playing the game (by simply walking or by stopping objects) or by buing them via inapp purchase. Coins can be used to purchase power ups, new umbrellas and skins into the shop. There are also gems (premium currency) obtainable as a game reward or by inapp purchase. The main use of gems is to continue a game when the egg is hitten by an object.
Another way to continue is to wach an advertising video (the player can do it only one time per mach). There are also ads banner on the menu
