Pipe it up! is a competitive party game, where two characters, a plumber and his rival, challenge each other in a race against time. Set in a flooding factory, the objective of the plumber is to repair the pipes that his rival breaks to discredit his job. By breaking the pipes, the rival increases the water level; by repairing the pipes, the plumber stops the flow of water.

In this project I worked as programmer: I developed game mechanics following the direction the videogame designer gave.
The goal of the project was to create a videogame in 48 hours non-stop, having the quote “Repair” as a line of thought. We decided to use the word “Repair” as fixing things.
So we decided to make a multiplayer game where a player needs to fix the mess caused by another player. And we cameup with Pipe it up!
Pipe it up! Is a 1V1 competitive party game where players impersonate a plumber and his rival: a mad employer that wants to destroy a factory.
The goal of the employer is to fill up of water the factory by breaking pipes (set in specific places in the level) before the timer expires.
The goal of the plumber it to fix all pipes trying to bolck the flood.
If the timer goes to 0 and the place is not fill up with water the plumber wins otherwise the employer wins (by filling up all the factory).
